The Hero of Slime

Introduction

The Hero of Slime can be started in Chapter 14, after obtaining access to Dive. This quest has the most prerequisites of any quest currently in the game, requiring the player to complete all of the Neo East Gearen City Help Center requests and fight Aya at the gym, as well as Ben's Stolen Miltank, which has its own lengthy set of prerequisites. Completing this quest rewards the player with access to the Pawniard and Goomy encounters, the Swampertite, the Infernape Crest, a Crest shop containing the Dedenne, Bastiodon, Rampardos, and Whiscash Crests, and +5 Karma.

Guide

From the south entrance of Honec Woods, head east, push the boulder out of the way, head north, and Dive down. Follow the path and enter the Kingdom of Goomidra.

Attempt to enter the castle, before being stopped by the Sliggoo Guards. Once Ben gets you access, enter the castle, and meet the King and Queen.

After being ordered to the princess's room, enter, and read over the letter. Goomelda will request that we train Goomink into a true warrior to defend the castle. Goomink can be found on the west side of the village.

Once you've found Goomink, speak to him. He will request to battle us outside. Talk to him when you're ready, and let the bloodbath begin. After defeating Goomink, he will head to the East Gearen City gym. Meet Goomink inside.

Step up to the stage with Goomink, and take on Aya in a 1v1. Speak to Goomink outside once you've won.

The next fight is with Crawli. Make your way down to the Gym Arena, and speak to Goomink to start the next "gym battle". After you defeat Crawli, speak to Goomink outside. He will battle you, again. You know what to do.

Next, you will need to head to Zorrialyn Coast, where you will find Goomink again. Take him back to Sashila Village, and then head to the dock on the east side of the village.

Sail out, and prepare to take on Kawopudunga. After winning the battle, and returning to Sashila, defeat the AA Grunt to continue.

Once Goomink leaves, fly back to the Kingdom, and enter the castle. Make your way to the princess's room, clearing out the AA Grunts along the way. Once you reach the Princess's room, head up to the roof top.

After finishing everything on the roof, return to the King and Queen, and then enter the room to the right. Defeat the AA Grunt's Emboar. The first fight as Goomink is not a required win, but is doable. After completing the second fight, and going through the lore, the quest will be complete.
