Rift Pokémon are Pokémon who had their appearance, type and abilities altered through the use of Rift Matter, and are commonly fought as bosses, along with Ruthless Pokémon. The main person responsible for creating Rift Pokémon is Zetta, but there's been instances where someone else managed to create one. Flora turned her Ferrothorn into one using rift matter, and Angie is seemingly in possession of one as well, though it's not explained how she obtained it.
