Evergreen Trench Quest

Introduction

The Evergreen Trench Sidequest can be started in Chapter 14 after gaining the Enigmatic Key. Completing this quest rewards the player with the Empoleon Crest.

Guide

From Route 11, head east, until you find a large, circular dive spot, which is located to the west of Seabound Cave [East]. Once you've found it, dive, and interact with the submarine. The person inside will request that we interact with the pillars under the water, from tallest, to shortest. From Evergreen Island, head directly right, and surf down in the 2x2 square. The first pillar is located just north of the dive point. From there, head south west, the last 3 pillars are all right before Akuwa town. Activate them from tallest to shortest, then head back to the submarine, and report your findings. Fly back to Evergreen Island, and dive. Enter the door that has opened up. Follow Jolene into the Spring Maintenance room, and defeat the security Pokemon along the way. After making your way through the security Pokemon, speak to Jolene to finish the quest.

Battle Team

The Defense Mechanisms are battled on Short-Circuit Field in a Double Battle. There's 3 battles as you go deeper into the Spring Maintenance.
