Secret of the Black Shards

Introduction
The Secret of the Black Shards quest can be started in Chapter 6 after the Kakori Help Center opens. Completing this quest rewards the player with 
4,326 and +1 Karma.
Guide
Enter the Kakori Help Plaza and accept the "Black Shard Secret" quest. Once started, head to the Terajuma Excavation Site at night. Head inside the excavation site building and speak to Gilda and April. Once introductions are settled, head outside and meet the trainer that you will be working with during the quest.
After you've met Rick, head south into one of the pits, and investigate the Black Shard rocks. Once everyone is done talking, you will be required to take on a Nosepass that has been exposed to the Black Shards. You will receive 250 Red Essence after defeating it.
After defeating it as a wild Pokémon, you will take on the Nosepass while Rick uses it. Once you've defeated Rick, return to the excavation site building and speak to April. Answer "Good friends" for some relationship points, then one of the scientists will enter, stating that a Black Shard chunk is missing.
You will be required to search for Rick, who is currently on Mt. Terajuma. Once you're able to reach Mt. Terajuma, head the bridge where you will find April and Rick, as well as the Black Shard chunk that was stolen. Speak to Rick to continue.
After the dialogue, you will need to defeat Rick in battle again, this time he will have a Probopass, which will be boosted by the Black Shard. After the battle and dialogue, you will be brought back to the Excavation Site. Speak to April outside to finish the quest. Head back to Kakori Help Center for your rewards.
