The Typhlosion Crest is a special type of held item, known as a Crest, that is unique to Pokémon Rejuvenation.

Effect

If held by a Typhlosion this item causes the holder's physical moves to use the Special Attack stat (instead of Attack), this includes stat boosts, meaning Special Attack boosts apply to all attacking moves, while Attack boosts are ineffective. Additionally contact moves hit twice (both hits are of the same type as the move, not Fire-type), with the second hit dealing 30% of the damage from the first hit (similar to Parental Bond). The multi-turn attack Rollout counts each hit as its own turn.

Acquisition

This item is obtained from Barbara in West Gearen after beating the Virtual League E4 and Champion, if the player chose Cyndaquil as their starter for the Virtual League. If Totodile or Chikorita were chosen instead, the item is bought from the Kecleon Merchant on Route 2 after completing the Virtual League.
