Route Description

Route 2 is covered in a lot of pink trees of varying colour, with one more remarkable tree, Cherry Blossom Tree, near the top. Immediately south of this is the Kecleon Shop, which offers items not found in a regular Pokemart. A river that flows from Route 3 and River's End from the north crosses through the center, and exits towards north again. At the southwest is the Train Station leading from East Gearen City. To the north of the station is an RV which currently houses a Painter.

The tall grass on this route comes in two colours: green and pink, which reflects on the nature around it. Scattered around the route are small trees that can be removed with Cut, and special trees that can be shaken with Headbutt for wild Pokémon encounters.

From Route 2, the player can access: River's End by rock climbing near the top of the map, crossing a small sliver of water, and going north; Amethyst Cave through the cave entrance in the northeastern part of the route; and East Gearen City by taking the train in the southwestern part of the route.

Kecleon's Shop

The Kecleon Shop can be found south of the Cherry Blossom Tree, at the bottom center of the map. The golden item on the bottom left of the right side of the shop is important for the Get an Item quest, it can be stolen or bought for 20.000 if you have at least 50.000; the item on the top right appears if you gave away the Ancient Book. A table of its shop contents can be found below. After becoming the Champion in the Online Virtual League it offers the other 2 starter Crests the player didn't choose for a hefty price. The Magnetic Lure is available from the start, while the Mirror Lure is available after winning the 2nd badge. The left side of the shop is set once you enter and resets daily, the item available is random.

Pokémon

During Day time, a horde of Aipoms can be found southeast of the Train Station, those later will be replaced by their evolution Ambipom after obtaining the fifth badge.
After the player acquires the fifth badge, a Lady on the bench by the train stop will ask to trade a Spinda for one of her Chikoritas.
A Mystery Egg can be found going through the Gemstream Mine, it can be a Skiddo (can know Milk Drink, Grassy Terrain, or Rollout), a Mudbray (can know Double Edge, Magnitude, or Close Combat), or a Galarian Ponyta (can know High Horsepower, Morning Sun, or Charm).
