The East Gearen Gym is the official Gym of East Gearen City, located in the northeastern part of the city. The Gym Leader is Venam, specializes in Poison-type Pokémon. Defeating her yields the Poison Heart Badge, TM102 Poison Sweep, and the ability to use Rock Smash outside of battle.
The Gearen Laboratory is located in the southwestern part of the city. In here, Pokémon Trainers beginning their journey are allowed to receive a starter from the lead scientist Professor Jenner and league scout Amanda.
The Magnolia Library is located in the northwestern part of the city. It has shelves of books, containing information about shadow Pokémon and their purification method. It is the place where you meet Zumi for the first time. It also hosts a couple of Move Tutors.
The Gearen Alleyway is located between the buildings of the City. Some residents make it a place to research Munna at night, while Venam uses it as a graveyard for her past gym structures.
The Chrisola Hotel is located in the northeastern part of the city. It is an expensive luxurious hotel owned by the Blakeory family, it contains the Game Corner and AP Center.
Gearen Apartments
The Gearen Apartments are the residential area in the city. The player can enter four buildings, Emerald, Velvet, Aqua, and Violet, while the last one is owned by Ms. Devile and have restricted access.
Leaflet Garden
The Leaflet Garden is located in the northwestern part of the city. It is a public garden with a fountain in its center. It's an important landmark for trainers and quests around the area.
Parks and Recreation Center
The Parks and Recreation Center is located in the northwestern part of the city. Currently the building is locked with little to no information about its purpose.
East Gearen Station
There are two stations in the city, located in northwestern and southeastern parts of the city. It runs from East Gearen City to Route 1 and Route 2 respectively.
Veronica and Chasity's House
The official residence of an Aevium Gym Leader, it is located in the southeastern part of the city, next to the train station. It houses Venam, the current Gym Leader, and her mother Chasity. The place where you have your first interaction with Venam.
Karrina's Base
Karrina's Base is located in the southwestern parts of the city. It's a place where Karrina and her gang hangs out to observe and protect the city.
East Gearen Help Plaza
The exterior of the Help Plaza
The Help Plaza is located in the northwestern part of the city, left of Magnolia Library. It's a place where people can submit their troubles and wait for someone to help solve their issues. Help requests are submitted and posted on the blackboard by the staff. It is the place were you meet Ayuda, the President of Help Plaza Co., and his wife Mei after acquiring your first badge, he introduce you to the Assembly Component and gives the player the Gather Cube to collect Zygarde Cells.
During Night time, a Shuppet is found at the third floor of Gearen Apartments Emerald Building.
During Night time, a hyper Pachirisu is found at the second floor of Gearen Apartments Velvet Building, the player will require the use of a Gourmet Treat to initiate a battle with it.
After a series of chasing attempts the player will be able to corner a Nidoran♀ north of the Parks and Recreation Center and start a battle with it.
When buying Poké Balls from the Blackbelt Vendor down the Berry Emporium for 400, on the fourth attempt the player will be getting a Voltorb instead.
After interacting with the Trainer inside the Ferry Terminal at Oceana Pier, the player can find a Buizel starring off a fence southeast from the Chrisola Hotel, and an option for it to join in your team will be available after a battle with its Trainer.
After completing the Battle Request! Help Request, the player can claim a Pichu from the rewards counter.
Within the East Gearen Help Plaza, a Zygarde 10% Forme can be constructed when helping Ayuda gathering 100 Zygarde Cells and 1 Zygarde Core.
