The Interceptium-Z is a type of Z-Crystal item unique to Pokémon Rejuvenation. It allows its holder to use one of 4 Z-Moves.

Effect

Unlike other Z-Crystals, the Interceptium-Z does not require the Pokémon holding it to have a move of a specific type or be a specific Species; any Pokémon can make full use of this crystal when held. There are 5 Z-Moves associated with the Interceptium-Z, but 2 are route-specific, so only 4 can be used on any given playthrough. A Pokémon holding this Z-Crystal can use one of the following Z-moves:

  • Unleashed Power: 150 BP attack. Type is set to the user's Hidden Power type. Deals physical/special damage depending on whichever one would do more damage. Breaks Reflect/Light Screen/Arenite Wall.
  • Blinding Speed: 80 BP +2 priority attack. Type is set to the user's primary type. Deals physical/special damage depending on whichever one would do more damage. In a Double Battle, the user's partner gains the effect of After You.
  • Elysian Shield: Paragon-route only. Applies Aurora Veil to the user's side and boosts the user's Defense and Special Defense by 1 stage.
  • Chthonic Malady: Renegade-route only. Lowers the target's Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages, applies Torment for 5 turns, and inflicts Petrification.
  • Domain Shift: Permanently transforms the field into a random field depending on route.
    • Both: Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Misty Terrain, Swamp Field, Desert Field, Icy Field, Rocky Field, Cave, Mountain, Deep Earth, Psychic Terrain, Haunted Field, City
    • Paragon: Rainbow Field, Forest Field, Factory Field Water Surface, Crystal Cavern, Snowy Mountain, Blessed Field, Fairy Tale Field, Starlight Arena, Bewitched Woods, Sky Field
    • Renegade: Dark Crystal Cavern, Volcanic Field, Corrosive Field, Corrosive Mist Field, Volcanic Top Field, Short-Circuit Field, Murkwater Surface, Dragon's Den, Dimensional Field, Frozen Dimensional Field, Infernal Field, Back Alley
