The Hidden Library 3

Introduction

The Hidden Library 3 quest can be started in Chapter 9 after gaining access to West Gearen City. The Hidden Library 1 and 2 must be completed before starting this quest. This quest expires in Chapter 10 after entering the train to go to Grand Dream City. Completing this quest rewards the player with 4000 and either the Banettite or Heracronite.

Guide

Enter West Gearen Help Plaza and accept the Hidden Library 3, go to the Hidden Library, enter the north room, and speak to Karen. After Karrina interrupts, you will be locked inside the Library.

After the events with Karen and Karrina, exit the north room, enter the east room, and search for the key to the west room, which is at the top left end of the room.

Enter the west wing, and avoid Karen's attacks while trying to reach her position. You will need do this 3 times, with each round getting more difficult. Once you reach Karen's position, enter the next room and defeat Karrina.

After defeating Karrina, you will be brought to Atebit Town. Head north and follow Alice/Allen into their house.

Once you've spoken to Alice in the house, head to the "Funky Forest" and reach the end. Avoid the red flowers or you will be transported back to the entrance of the forest. Once you've found Alice in the forest, you will be brought back to the house.

After speaking to Alice in the house, you will now be able to leave. Head back to the forest and defeat Allen before entering the cave.

Once inside the cave, you will need to complete a Kabuto tile puzzle to proceed.

Now that you've returned to reality, make your way to the north wing, and open the door with Karrina. Inside, you will be given the option to choose a mega stone, Banettite, or Heracronite. Once you've chosen your stone, the quest will be finished. Head back to West Gearen Help Plaza for the rest of your rewards.

Karrina is battled on Blessed Field in a Single Battle. Karrina has no healing items. Throughout the battle, Karen changes the type of Karrina's Pokémon with Garufan magic.
