Version -1: Where Love Lies, usually referred to as Where Love Lies, is a Rejuvenation sidegame, released on March 23, 2018.

Plot

Where Love Lies takes place between the Storm-9 calamity and the year before Rejuvenation's events, and it deals with Keta and Taelia's past. Similarly to the main game, the story of Where Love Lies is divided into four chapters, with no meaningful plot splits. The game features two endings, which differ for the presence of some extra scenes. Where Love Lies may be played independently of Rejuvenation, although it's recommended it be played before fighting Souta in Chapter 12.

Game Mechanics

Since the game's release, there have not been any major updates. The game runs on Version 10's engine and on Generation 7 mechanics. Mega Evolutions, Z-Moves and Crests are implemented, though only the former may be actually used. Pokémon may not be caught; instead, the player has to find Pokéballs scattered across Aevium or receive gifts from characters in order to expand their party. As in the main game, each chapter has its own hard level cap.

Obtaining the True Ending

There are three conditions which must be met in order to obtain the True Ending.

• All available Pokémon must be obtained.
• The secret scene in Chapter 2 must be triggered.
• The Time Capsule must be unlocked.
