Concert Venue is a field effect exclusive to Rejuvenation. It is categorized as a Synthetic field and can be found in Venam's and Amber's gyms.

General Effects

  • This field has 4 different stages based on "Hype".
    • No Hype → Moves always hit the minimum damage roll, and moves with variable BP always hit with the lowest BP.
    • Low Hype
    • Hyped → Pokémon are unable to fall asleep. Any Pokémon inflicted with Sleep or with the ability Comatose are woken up and take 1/4 max HP damage.
      • The Concert's noise could wake up even the dead!
    • Super Hyped! → Moves always hit the maximum damage roll, and moves with variable BP always hit with the highest BP. Additionally, Pokémon gain the Metronome hold item effect.

Increasing Hype

  • Critical hits increase Hype by 1 stage.
    • The critical hit is getting the crowd hyped!
  • Spread moves used in Double Battles increase Hype by 1 stage.
    • The wide area attack is getting the crowd hyped!
  • All Sound-based moves with the exception of Confide, Eerie Spell, Grass Whistle, Heal Bell, Perish Song, and Snore increase Hype by 1 stage.
    • The song is getting the audience hyped!
  • The moves Aquabatics, Dragon Dance, Drum Beating, Feather Dance, Fiery Dance, First Impression, Petal Dance, Quiver Dance, Revelation Dance, Rollout, Swagger, Swords Dance, and Work Up increase Hype by 1 stage.
    • The stunning dance makes the audience go wild!
    • The crowd is getting hyped!
  • Pokémon with the abilities Galvanize, Heavy Metal, Plus, Punk Rock, or Solid Rock increase Hype by 1 stage on switch-in.
    • [Pokémon]'s [Ability] is getting the crowd hyped!
  • The moves Focus Energy, Follow Me, Laser Focus, Lucky Chant, and Spotlight increase Hype by 2 stages.
    • The audience's full attention is on the stage!
  • The moves Explosion and Self-Destruct instantly change the stage to Super Hyped!.
    • The audience cheers for the explosive finish!!

Decreasing Hype

  • Missing a move, boosting Evasion, or lowering Evasion or Accuracy decrease Hype by 1 stage.
    • The crowd is booing!
  • The moves Baby Doll Eyes, Embargo, Play Nice, Quash, Slack Off, Throat Chop, Tickle, and Yawn decrease Hype by 1 stage.
    • The audience is not a fan of this friendly touchy-feely stuff...
    • The bar is closed and the crowd does NOT like it...
    • The crowd is booing, they want action!
    • The leadsingers voice fails...
  • Pokémon with the abilities Klutz or Minus decrease Hype by 1 stage on switch-in.
    • The crowd is booing!
  • The moves Cold Truth and Sheer Cold instantly change the stage to No Hype.
    • Bitter cold AND preaching? I am out of here!
    • The freezing cold drives the audience away...

Abilities Affected

  • At Low Hype and above, Emergency Exit and Run Away additionally boost the bearer's Speed by 1 stage on switch-in.
    • [Pokémon] wants to get away from the noise!
  • Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, Rock Head, Solid Rock, Soundproof additionally boost the bearer's Defense by 1 stage in switch-in.
    • [Pokémon] is accustomed to the music due to [Ability]!
  • Mimicry changes the bearer's type to Normal.
  • At Hyped and above, Rattled additionally boosts the bearer's Speed by 2 stages on switch-in.
    • [Pokémon] wants to get away from the noise!
  • Technician now boosts moves at 80 BP and below.

Moves which receive an attack buff

  • Sound-based moves → 1.5x boost.
    • Loud and clear!
  • Acid, Acid Spray, Circle Throw, Dragon Tail, Drum Beating, Fake Out, First Impression, Rage, Thrash, Frustration, Outrage, Rollout, Stomping Tantrum → 1.5x boost
    • Face melting!
    • MOSHPIT!!!
    • An amazing drum solo!
    • What an opening act!
    • Rock and roll!
    • As of v13.5.6, Apple Acid does not receive a damage boost due to a typo.
  • Rage, Thrash, Frustration, Outrage, Stomping Tantrum → 1.5x boost (Low Hype and below).
    • The outraged Audience is rioting!

Other moves

  • Acid Armor boosts the user's Defense by 3 stages.
  • Clangorous Soul boosts all of the user's stats by 2 stages, but the user loses 1/2 max HP instead.
    • As of v13.5.6, the field effect manual incorrectly states that the user loses 1/2 remaining HP.
  • Encore's effect length is doubled to 6 turns.
  • Growl lowers the target's Attack by 2 stages.
  • Metal Sound lowers the target's Special Defense by 3 stages.
  • Howl and Roar boost the user's Attack by 2 stages.
  • Parting Shot lowers the target's Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages.
  • Screech lowers the target's Defense by 3 stages.
  • Sing's Accuracy is increased to 100%.
  • Work Up boosts the user's Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages.

Field-dependent moves

  • Camouflage changes the user's type to Normal.
  • Nature Power becomes Hyper Voice.
  • Secret Power may flinch.
  • Shelter halves damage from Normal-type moves.
  • Terrain Pulse's type becomes Normal.

Items

  • Synthetic Seed boosts Special Attack by 1 stage and applies Helping Hand to the user.
