Psychic Terrain is a field present in Rejuvenation. It is classified as a Magical field and can be found in all of Nim's battles and during the battle against the Puppet Master.

Transitions From Other Fields

Generating Psychic Terrain while another field is already active causes the Psychic Terrain field to overlay on top of the active field. The original field remains active and the overlayed Psychic Terrain field has fewer effects than normal. If Psychic Terrain is an overlayed field, only effects/moves in the below sections trailed by an asterisk (*) apply.

  • This field is generated by:
    • The ability Psychic Surge on switch-in and the move Psychic Terrain for 5 turns normally and 8 turns if the Pokémon holds an Amplifield Rock.
    • The Z-Move Genesis Supernova for 5 turns.

General Effects

  • Grounded Pokémon's Psychic-type attacks deal 1.5x increased damage.*
    • The Psychic Terrain strengthened the attack!
  • Priority attacks fail against grounded Pokémon.

Abilities Affected

  • Anticipation and Forewarn additionally boost the user's Special Attack by 2 stages upon switch-in.*
  • Pure Power doubles the user's Special Attack instead of Attack.*
  • Magician additionally lowers the accuracy of status moves used against the user to 50%.
  • Power Spot boosts the partner's damage by 1.5x.
  • Telepathy additionally doubles the Pokémon's speed.
  • Zen Mode is always activated.

  • Aura Sphere*, Focus Blast*, Hex*, Hidden Power*, Magical Leaf*, Mind Blown*, Moonblast*, Mystical Fire*, Secret Power* → 1.5x boost.
    • The psychic energy strengthened the attack!'

Other moves

  • Calm Mind boosts the user's Special Attack and Special Defense by 2 stages.
  • Cosmic Power boosts the user's Defense and Special Defense by 2 stages.
  • Esper Wing boosts the user's Speed by 2 stages.
  • Gravity, Magic Room, Trick Room, and Wonder Room last 8 turns.
  • Hypnosis' accuracy is increased to 90%.
  • Kinesis boosts the user's Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages and lowers the target's Accuracy by 2 stages.
  • Meditate boosts the user's Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages.
  • Mind Reader, Miracle Eye, and Psych Up additionally boost the user's Special Attack by 2 stages.
  • Mystical Power boosts the user's Special Attack by 2 stages.
  • Nasty Plot boosts the user's Special Attack by 3 stages.
  • Psyshield Bash additionally boost the user's Special Defense by 1 stage.
  • Shattered Psyche additionally confuses the target.
  • Telekinesis additionally lowers the target's Defense and Special Defense by 2 stages.

Field-dependent moves

  • Camouflage changes the user's type to Psychic.
  • Nature Power becomes Psychic.
  • Secret Power may confuse.
  • Shelter halves damage from Psychic-type moves.
  • Terrain Pulse becomes Psychic-type.

Items

  • Magical Seed boosts Special Attack by 2 stages but confuses the user.
    • As of v13.5.6, the field effect manual incorrectly states that Magical Seed boosts Special Attack and Special Defense.
