Adam is the region's Rock-type gym leader. He's first introduced while imprisoned at Blacksteeple Castle, alongside Valarie, Saki and Braixen. He doesn't talk much, and he's shown to be physically strong, easily overpowering some of the castle guards, though he's more brawn than brains.
In Chapters 5 - 10, Adam has bold blue hair pulled back into a short ponytail, with some highlights of purple at the tips. He wears a brown and orange striped v-neck shirt and has an overall muscular build. Adam also has a dark grey jacket with yellow stripes accenting the cuffs tied around his waist, dark grey boots with blue soles and design on the front, and white pants tucked into the top of the boots. He also has blue eyes and a much more deadpan expression.
In Chapters 11 - 14, Adam still has blue eyes, but now has black hair, though that is still pulled into a ponytail. He wears an open grayish-blue shirt, dull lavender pants, and shoes the same colour as his shirt with darker blue soles and front. He also dons a pair of shades, and has a proud and boastful expression.

Adam is homosexual. It's heavily implied that he had feelings for Damien, but it was one sided and he gave up his feelings for him after he left Sashila Village to go on a journey of self-discovery. V13.5 further explore this idea, as Adam is clearly shown to be attracted to Sam, one of the Rangers.
